Executive Leadership

In March 2007, Ms. Husic led a team of shareholders to acquire and establish Centric Bank and Centric Financial Corporation, where she now serves as President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to taking the leadership role at Centric, Ms. Husic joined Vartan Bank, serving as Executive Vice President, COO & CFO. She was appointed President in July 2005, distinguishing her as the first woman in the Harrisburg region to hold that title at a financial institution. Before rising to leadership at Centric Bank, Ms. Husic was a member of the executive management team at Pennsylvania State Bank where she successfully directed the accounting, finance, and management information systems for 14 years. She brings over 30 years of experience in the banking industry.

Ms. Husic currently serves on the board of the American Bankers Mutual Insurance, LTD (ABMI) and the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank.

As Chair of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association in 2013, she is only the third female in 120 years to hold that prestigious leadership position. Ms. Husic was also recognized by American Banker as one of the Most Powerful Women in Banking for the years 2015-2021. A graduate of Temple University where she earned her BBA in Accounting and Management Information Systems, Ms. Husic is also a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Myers was promoted to Senior Executive Vice President of Centric Bank in 2017. He joined the Bank in November 2006 as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer. His responsibilities also encompass the Cash Management and Mortgage departments. Mr. Myers joined Centric after serving for seven years with Legacy Bank as Senior Vice President and Market Manager. Prior to that, Mr. Myers served for seven years as Vice President, Senior Commercial Lender at Pennsylvania State Bank. Mr. Myers has over 35 years’ experience in the banking industry.

Ms. Schultz was promoted to Senior Executive Vice President in 2021. She has served as Chief Financial Officer of Centric Financial Corporation and Centric Bank since September 2008. She is currently responsible for the Operations function of the Bank as well and held this role from 2008-2017. Ms. Schultz has over 30 years of banking experience. Previously she was with Sterling Financial as Treasury Analyst and Officer, Assistant Treasurer and Controller at Pennsylvania State Bank, and has held varying roles in the finance area of community banks. She received her MBA from Mount St. Mary’s University in 2007 and is a graduate of Western Maryland College, with a Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting and Economics.

Mr. Monteverde rejoined Centric Bank as Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer in 2021. He served in the same role at Centric Bank from 2014 to 2019 and spent the majority of his 38-year banking career in credit risk management. After a few years as a Risk Analyst at Synovus Bank in Florida, Terry's desire to help strengthen local businesses and serve our customers led him back to Centric Bank, where he knows the customers and the community. Monteverde holds a Bachelors’ degree from Washington & Jefferson College and an MBA from Lebanon Valley College.

Ms. Meck served as Centric Bank’s Chief Retail Officer since 2011 and was promoted to Executive Vice President, Chief Retail and Customer Experience Officer in April 2021. She has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry. The Marketing department also falls under her leadership, and in prior years she has been responsible for the Mortgage and Cash Management departments. Previously, she led the Retail Strategy Department at Graystone Bank for four years. Prior to Graystone, she was part of the Senior Leadership Team at Metro Bank for more than 10 years holding the roles of Chief Retail Officer and Chief Culture Officer.

Ms. Turner was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2021. She was hired as SVP and Chief Risk Officer at Centric Bank in January of 2019. Prior to joining the team at Centric, she was recruited as the first credit and risk manager for New York City Energy Efficiency Corporation. Her 30-year career in risk management for banks and financial services firms includes time with JP Morgan Chase, Christopher Street Financial, Ernst & Young, LLP, and BT Securities Corporation. Previously, Ms. Turner served as Deputy Chief Operating Officer, SVP, Chief Credit Policy, and Chief Credit Administration Officer at Metro Bank.

Ms. Pavlakovich was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2021. She has served as the Human Resources Director at Centric Bank since June of 2017. Ms. Pavlakovich has over 30 years’ experience as a human resource professional, 21 years in the financial institution industry, and is certified as a senior-level human resource professional through the Society for Human Resource Management. Prior to coming to Centric Bank in 2017, she led the human resources department at Metro Bank in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
